DERMAL FILLER
Dermal Fillers are a non-invasive treatment for smoother, more youthful skin. As we age, our skin loses its natural elasticity and the smooth complexion we took for granted begins to fade. Unfortunately the way our skin ages is largely determined by our genetics, but the process can be accelerated by smoking, poor diet and sun exposure.
By injecting tiny amounts of Dermal Filler under the skin or lips, gives you the opportunity to pause or reverse the aging process by restoring volume where you need it. After one short treatment, the skins surface is ‘plumped up’, the appearance of lines and wrinkles are diminished and there is a marked improvement in suppleness.

NASO-LABIAL FOLDS:
The nasolabial fold is the deep crease running from either side of the nose down towards the corners of the mouth. This crease becomes more noticeable as part of the natural ageing process. Fat is lost from the cheeks, reducing skin volume and making this fold appear deeper. Repeated smiling or having a “big smile” may result in permanent, deep creases in this area.

Deep nasolabial folds can be corrected through injections of dermal filler into the surrounding area, restoring the lost volume and softening the appearance of these creases. The goal of nasolabial fold injections is to even out the skin volume, leaving you with a smoother, refreshed-looking appearance.

MARIONETTE LINES:
Marionette lines (corner of the mouth) are long vertical wrinkles that traverse from the corners of the lips to the chin. The name originates from Marionette puppets, that have faces with long vertical creases. These creases could give a sad or discontent look to the face. These lines occur with age, smoking and genetics and can progress to form jowls later on.
Dermal filler injected into this area can help to soften and plump, to give a more refreshed look.
We use only premium dermal filler products (such as Juvederm/Restylane) in the lower face, which can help to refresh, plump and to soften the overall appearance of the face. Cheryl is our Aesthetic Practitioner, specialising in wrinkle relaxation, dermal fillers, lip enhancement and Profhilo treatments. Medically trained, Cheryl is a Registered Midwife, Health Visitor and Family Nurse and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. She has been practicing in the Aesthetics industry for over 10 years and has vast experience.
Cheryl initially trained at Harley Street and as a lip enhancement specialist with world renowned Julie Horne in Oslo. More recently, Cheryl trained with HA Derma for Profhilo Skin Remodelling. Cheryl is also a trained skin care specialist, with knowledge of the Alumier MD Skincare range and professional treatments. She is fully insured, and continually updates with current policy and practice.
