SUNEKOS EYE TREATMENT
We are very excited to introduce the Sunekos treatment to RENU Clinic. For far too long the area under the eyes has been tricky to treat, but we’ve finally found the solution to puffiness, dark circles, lines and wrinkles with these skin booster injections. This highly effective injectable skin boosting cocktail is the perfect blend of high-grade ingredients – here’s everything you need to know about it.
Sunekos is a new, intelligent injectable substance containing a potent cocktail of amino acids and hyaluronic acid (HA) - although injectable, it is nothing like a filler. These are vital building blocks of healthy and hydrated skin. Its formula is a patented combination of amino acids (the essential building blocks of elastin and collagen) and super-hydrating Hyaluronic acid.
How does it work?
Sunekos works by stimulating the fibroblasts and regenerating the Extracellular Matrix (ECM) of your skin (this is the largest component of our skin, which provides elasticity and structural support to the dermis) - this encourages it to produce a complete mix of collagen and elastin, restoring the vibrancy, hydrating and plumping the treated tissues, and restoring the youthful glow and health of the skin. The treatment involves a number of small injections around the eye area.
Will it help my dark circles?
If you struggle with dark under eyes, where the skin has gone thin and lost volume - Sunekos is the treatment for you! It is exceptionally good for reducing dark under-eye circles!
How many treatments do I need?
For the eye area you would require two treatments, spaced two weeks apart. The treatment price of £240 includes the two treatments. In some cases three treatments may be required, but Cheryl will discuss this with you upon consultation or at your first treatment.
Evidence shows that benefits are still present after 6 months. An additional treatment might be considered at 6 months to maintain the effects (priced at £100 for a follow up treatment), or a full course yearly.
Here at RENU Clinic we use the latest formation of Sunekos - Sunekos Performa. Previously, Sunekos 200 would be used for the eye area which would require a course of three to four treatments, however they have reformulated to improve the cocktail of the ingredients for improved results, and we offer this latest formulation.
Is there any downtime?
The downtime with this treatment is minimal. Immediately after the procedure you’ll notice little bumps that resemble an insect bite or bee sting at the site of injection, these subside within a hour or so post treatment. Bruising is also fairly common as the skin around the eye area is so delicate, but this can be covered with makeup.
How soon will I see results?
While you may see an improvement immediately after the first treatment, the best results are visible around 4 weeks after the second treatment.

Cheryl is our Aesthetic Practitioner has been practicing in the Aesthetics industry for over 15 years and has vast experience specialising in Wrinkle Relaxation, Dermal Fillers, Lip Enhancement and Profhilo treatments. Medically trained, Cheryl is a Registered Midwife, Health Visitor and Family Nurse and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. More recently Cheryl is a registered Independent Nurse Prescriber.
Cheryl initially trained at Harley Street and as a lip enhancement specialist with world renowned Julie Horne in Oslo. More recently, Cheryl trained with HA Derma for Profhilo Skin Remodelling. Cheryl is also a trained skin care specialist, with knowledge of the Alumier MD Skincare range and professional treatments. She is fully insured, and continually updates with current policy and practice.
